Progressive Rock Music

I just love progressive rock music! My fave bands being Yes, Rush and one you may not have heard of, but who are my fave right now.

Dream Theater!

The album I most recommend of theirs is 'Metropolis Part II: Scenes from a memory."



It is a concept album about a guy who undergoes hypnosis and finds himself involved in the murder of a young woman, in a past life. The music is terrific, and the lyrics.

There is another version which is even better, the DVD of the live performance. Images of the story appear and illustrate the lyrics with movies and pictures and logos. If you have epilepsy, I wouldn't recommend it as there is a lot of flashing light during the first 10 minutes.

Other bands and artists I like include: Led Zep, Genesis, Neil Diamond, Sinatra, The Who, the Jam, Marillion, Rainbow, Deep Purple, REM, Pink Floyd, Radiohead.

BUT, I just lurve Prog Rock!
