UKIP Home

There are blogs and there are forums, so what is UKIP Home meant to be?

Let me tell you a story of an initiative which is very successful today. It's called Conservative Home and is run by Tim Montgomery and Sam Coates.

Con Home represents views more akin to UKIP's than the Conservative Party. Indeed Tim recently wrote a piece for the Guardian Comment is Free, to challenge Cameron to start appealing to the right of their Party. Tim is EU-Skeptic, but I don't believe he is for withdrawal at least at this time.

Con Home now receives more Internet traffic than the CP website. Not bad going.

Today's relevent stories are posted in one section, there are comments on another section, where people can post there own comments to, there is a community section where people can post a bit about themselves.

It has been announced that there is going to be a television section too now.

Chad Noble started UKIP Home to give us all a chance of having something that adds significantly to what we have already.

Do you have an idea that could help UKIP do better? You could write one for UKIP Home if you'd like. Unlike the unofficial forum, where a well-written post may not go anywhere except there on the forum, UKIP Home is aiming to provide a place where your hard work would be potentially useful. Suppose UKIP Home took off, like Con Home. Many people would read it, including leaders of our Party, as Con Home is read by them too. Cameron has posted there, and Maude.

Although Chad Noble has only recently started UKIP Home, and didn't exactly get an encouraging response by quite a few unofficial forum members, David Campbell Bannerman has already answered 10 questions that Chad asked.

Now you may be thinking that David Campbell Bannerman may think too much of himself, high and mighty, etc.

Thing is, he went to the trouble of answering questions asked by a small new initiative. Cool, uh?

So, when DCB writes that he believes it important to communicate with all sections of the party, various viewpoints, etc, we have some evidence that it is true. He did so with UKIP Home.

Note: UKIP Home is not an official UKIP Party website. It is a grassroots initiative by a bright and tenacious newish member, Chad Noble, who wants to help our beloved Country.
